I – Why are Foundation and Knowledge linked together?
Foundation and Knowledge cannot be dissociated because how we act or behave (foundation) is the result of how we think (knowledge).
If our knowledge is fear-based (level of Manifestation) we will act in fear.
If our knowledge is connection-based (level of Formation) we will act from your heart.

II – How are Foundation and Knowledge linked together?
This figure represents the pattern of folding that shows how our foundation is connected to our knowledge.
By folding the symbol of Manifestation in half, the sphere 10 comes to meet the sphere 1, and sphere 9 (representing our Foundation) comes to meet the dashed sphere (representing our Knowledge). Sphere 6 (Heart) is the middle point. This is why the experience of life (Foundation) opens up our knowledge.
At each level (Manifestation, Formation and Creation), whenever Foundation meets Knowledge we get the full sphere like on the level of Emanation.
By bringing ourselves into balance at the level of Manifestation we experience unity and are able to move to the next level — the level of Formation and so on.

III – Foundation and Knowledge on each Level
a – Foundation and Knowledge on the Level of Manifestation
At the level of Manifestation uniting our Foundation (experience of life) with our Knowledge (understanding how things work) is not always easy. Sometimes we have an idea (Emanation) of how things “should be.” When the reality (Manifestation) of the situation is in conflict with how we want it to be, we often react (fear).
At the level of Manifestation we have difficulty trusting anybody including ourselves.
To pass from the level of Manifestation (Separation) to the level of Formation (Connection) we have to sit in our fear and not act out of fear. The moment we stop pointing the finger at others and ask the right question: What am I afraid of? We have the opportunity to move from one Foundation of Knowledge to another — The Foundation of Connection.
Remember, people used to think (knowledge) that the Earth was flat until someone realized it was not and then the world moved to a new Foundation of Knowledge with fresh possibilities.
b – Foundation and Knowledge on the Level of Formation
At the level of Formation uniting our Foundation (connection) with our Knowledge (interior senses) the exterior world has less control over us. We are less fearful.
At the level of Formation we trust ourselves.
c – Foundation and Knowledge on the Level of Creation
At the level of Creation uniting our Foundation (life) with our Knowledge allows us to connect to all.
At the level of Creation we trust the world we live in.
d – Foundation and Knowledge on the Level of Emanation
At the level of Emanation where Foundation and Knowledge are inseparable, we are.
At the level of Emanation we are one with all.
Emanation is the finality of all levels (Manifestation, Formation and Creation) and it is also the beginning of a new cycle (Creation, Formation and Manifestation).
The previous chapter (III) explained how to bring ourself into balance. The next chapter (IV) will show where Knowledge and Foundation are located in our body on each level.

IV – Foundation and Knowledge of the Human Being
– At the level of Manifestation – Foundation is located in the Pelvis and Knowledge in Adam’s apple.
– At the level of Formation – Foundation is located in the Heart and Knowledge in the Brain.
– At the level of Creation – Foundation is located in the Nose and Knowledge in the Cell Brain.
– At the level of Emanation – Foundation and Knowledge are together in the Cell.
Each time we are separated we move far from our heart and our breathing becomes uneven. We have difficulty thinking.
Each time we are connected we move into our heart and we are aware of our breathing. Our thoughts are clearer.
a – Foundation and Knowledge of the Human Being on the Level of Manifestation
At the level of Manifestation our Knowledge and Foundation are both limited by separation.
KNOWLEDGE
On a physical level Knowledge (located in the neck) is separated into two processes: eating (physical nourishment) and breathing (life). Both are necessary for life, but when we eat we cannot breathe and vice versa.
When we eat the food goes to the esophagus and when we breathe we use the trachea. The two processes are separated by the Adam’s apple, which closes off the epiglottis when we swallow.
FOUNDATION
On a physical level Foundation (located in the pelvis) is separated into two processes: excretion (elimination of waste) and reproduction (continuity of life).
Even though Knowledge and Foundation are separate they function together in the daily process of life.
b – Foundation and Knowledge of the Human Being on the Level of Formation
At the level of Formation both Knowledge and Foundation connect the human being to the interior function of the body through the exterior organs.
KNOWLEDGE
On a physical level Knowledge (located in the brain) is the connection between the exterior organs (eye, ears, nostrils and mouth) and their interior function.
Eye — seeing with understanding
Ears — listening with discernment
Nostrils — breathing in and out
Mouth — be aware of what’s coming in (eating) and out (communicating)
FOUNDATION
On a physical level our Foundation (located in the heart) is the connection point for our actions. The hands are for connecting through touch and the foot is for standing or moving.
On a functional level the heart connects the blood and the lungs. The heart is a pump that uses blood (“water”) to take oxygen from lungs (air) to the cells.
Which organs do we use to connect our Foundation and our Knowledge?
The way we perceive the world (Knowledge) is connected to the way we act (Foundation). In other words, our thoughts are connected to our actions.
In this configuration the connection between our Foundation and Knowledge is our mouth. The mouth is the expression of our thoughts and heart.
c – Foundation and Knowledge of the Human Being on the Level of Creation
At the level of Creation both Knowledge and Foundation are the connection between the exterior organs of the face, the brain and the source of life.
KNOWLEDGE
On a physical level Knowledge (located in the cell brain) is the connection point for the different functions of the brain.
FOUNDATION
On a physical level our Foundation (located in the nose) is the connection with life — Breathing.
By breathing correctly this helps our brain to function at it full capacity.
d – Foundation and Knowledge of the Human Being on the Level of Emanation
Knowledge and Foundation on the Level of Creation are reunited as one. There is no separation between Foundation and Knowledge.

V – The relationship between the Level of Manifestation and the Level of Formation
FOUNDATION
On the level of Manifestation, the Foundation is the pelvis, corresponding to the energy of separation and fear.
On the level of Formation, the Foundation is the heart, corresponding to the energy of connection and love.
When we are afraid our Foundation is the pelvis (Level of Manifestation). This means:
– Our arms are crossed
– Our head has just 2 eyes and a brain
When we are connected our Foundation is the heart (Level of Formation). This means:
– Our arms are open
– Our head has a full set of organs available, eye, ears, nostrils and mouth.
Each time we are afraid our body limits our ability to function. When we are connected we are able to embrace the situation.
KNOWLEDGE
On the level of Manifestation, the Knowledge is Adam’s apple, corresponding to the separation between the head (thinking) and the torso (acting).
On the level of Formation, the Knowledge is the brain, corresponding to the connection between the exterior organs and their interior function.
When we are afraid our Knowledge is located in the Adam’s apple (Level of Manifestation). This means:
– Our head is cut off from our torso. We cannot think when we are afraid. We are only concerned about survival.
– We have just 2 eyes to express our fear.
– We have no ears to “listen”.
– We have no nose to “breathe”.
– We have no mouth to “speak”.
When we are connected our Knowledge is located in the brain (Level of Formation). This means:
– Our brain receives and gives the right information for us to act on.
– We have 1 eye to see in unity not in duality.
– We have 2 ears to listen to our interior and our exterior.
– We have 2 nostrils to breath in and out.
– We have a mouth, which is connected to our heart (speaking from our heart).
Each time we are afraid our thoughts are limited. When we are connected we are able to understand the situation and act accordingly.
